G-SHOCK has put one of its most recognizable digital silhouettes into a very specific Bay Area story. The new G-SHOCK x Midnight Organic DW6900MO26-4 is built on the classic DW-6900 platform, but its bright orange resin case and strap point directly to Larry June’s 1987 Chevrolet C4 Corvette and the “Tropical Guts” orange interior that has become part of his visual language.

What launched

Casio’s US product page lists the watch as a July 2026 new release at $170. The companion G-SHOCK collaboration page frames the model around Midnight Organic, Larry June’s lifestyle brand, and the Corvette that inspired the color story. The watch uses orange resin and bio-based resin, silver-toned dial and keeper details, special packaging, and a stainless-steel caseback engraved with Midnight Organic’s “1991” logo and “YOU’RE DOING GOOD” motto.

The core spec is deliberately familiar: shock-resistant structure, 200 m water resistance, 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, multifunction alarm, LED backlight and flash alert. This is not a technical reinvention of the DW-6900. It is a culture-led limited edition that works because the design reference is concrete.

Why it matters

G-SHOCK collaborations live or die by whether the partner story survives on the object. Here it does. The orange is not random seasonal brightness; it connects to a known car, a music persona and a streetwear/lifestyle brand that already uses a food-and-wellness visual code. The result is a DW-6900 that feels less like a logo placement and more like a wearable prop from Larry June’s world.

Collector interest will likely sit in that intersection: the 6900 silhouette, the limited collaboration angle, the caseback, the custom backlight and the orange packaging. At $170, it is still accessible enough to be worn, but specific enough that G-SHOCK collaboration collectors will read it differently from a standard orange digital watch.

Horomag take

The DW6900MO26-4 is a reminder that G-SHOCK’s collaboration machine is strongest when the story is oddly precise. A bright orange 6900 could have been disposable. A bright orange 6900 tied to a $3,500 Corvette, a rapper’s personal mythology and a motivational backlight is much harder to confuse with anything else.

For mechanical-watch collectors, this will not be the technical story of the week. For G-SHOCK people, streetwear collectors and anyone who understands how much narrative can fit into a resin digital watch, it is a neat July drop with more personality than the price suggests.
