The most interesting chronographs right now are not always the loudest ones. A smaller case, a cleaner dial and a bracelet that actually settles on the wrist can make the complication feel usable again.
That shift matters because chronographs are already visually busy. When the size is controlled, the pushers, subdials and tachymeter scale become details to read rather than noise to survive.
