Green has moved past the easy trend phase. The stronger executions use the color to say something about texture, depth or place, rather than simply adding novelty to an existing reference.
That is why the best examples tend to be restrained. A dial that changes under light can carry the story without forcing the case or bracelet to do anything theatrical.
